The challenge
They were selling on lineage — grand champion bloodlines, health testing, decades of breeding. The mark said backyard kennel. Every touchpoint that should have signaled program signaled hobby.
The approach
The crest had to work at two extremes: two inches on a collar tag, and across a truck door. That ruled out illustration. We built a mark on heraldic structure — solid mass, no thin strokes, readable as a silhouette — because a kennel's mark lives stamped, stitched and printed more than it lives on a screen.

Context
SoCal Cane Corso breeds champion-bloodline Cane Corsos in Fallbrook, California — European Grand Champion imports, health tested. Puppies sell between $3,500 and $6,000, with financing.
The identity had to read with the authority of the program behind it: on the dog, on the truck, and in a buyer’s hands.
